Where to get car tire mounted
I live in Taylors, SC and recently visited Powersports of Greenville, SC where I purchased my 2014 RTS SE6. About five years ago they mounted a Kuhmo Ecsta Ast tire on the rear of my Spyder, same exact size as the original tire 225/50/15. Well, now they tell me they don't mount car tires anymore, in fact they haven't done so for 5 years. So my question is, where do all the Spyder owners take there Spyders to get a car tire mounted on the rear??? I don't have the equipment to remove it myself, so any help as to what dealer(s) will mount a car tire would be greatly appreciated.

Try an auto or tire shop. They can do the swap but may not be able to balance.

Any independent tire shop should do it . I had Cost Co install Michelin tire on my wheels no problem

Honda Can-Am of Winston Salem will do it. I've always taken my Spyder there because the tech also balances it and checks the belt tension with a Gates meter as part of the job.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

When I get ready for a new rear tire (car tire), that's where I'll go. They're actually in Clemmons now, if it matters although Clemmons and Winston are "neighbors". They're about a block off of I40.
