I put one on that cost me $90 and used the plate that came with in on the back rack by drilling four bolts. It already had a back rest and lights. Got it on amazon. It was a besteem C90, hold a full size helmet no problem.
Done all of Canada except NWT and parts of Australia
They changed the model and dropped the price. I got the top box the interior bag and the liner for mine. You have to redrill the plate to make it fit the back rest plate on the spyder.
I included the three link for Amazon prime.
Hope that helps

If its not too much trouble could you post a pic of it on your bike; curious about how the 44L case looks.
would love to, but I am not famous for taking pictures of my bikes and they are buried at the dealers for the winter, we don't get them out to april up here
But will ask my riding buddies if they have taken a picture.

Ok I found one, not the best but you can see what it looks like. I love it I pac the top box bag with all my clothes, easier to unlock the bag and pull out the case and walk in. The frunk I put all rain gear extra gloves etc. When I empty the top box I put my helmet and gps in the top box. I also hooked up the brake light that is on the box as well, nice and bright.spyder large.jpg

About a decade ago there was a company that sold brackets for the GS RS RSS frame . That gave you the option to add a passenger backrest that could also support an extension to attach a top box ( as mentioned above ) to. ..... Sorry but I can't remember the name , I think it started with a " K "...... I bought them for my 12 RSS and made a template so I could re-produce it in the future ...... Good luck ..... Mike
To be clear you mean the sports rack & top case
BRP# 219400294. Know the top case required the passenger back rest to mount. So rack up total :sports rack + backrest+ case =$$$$ & believe it or not they would not offer my hung color or keys, If already had saddle bags

What is not clear to me is how to attach the box to the bike. I looked into getting the sport rack but was told it will not fit the 2014 RSS.
Ya sorry bout that another BRP blunder, just before they discontinued RS & ST lines slight frame change so the racks only fit 13& prior. Piece of extruded aluminum goes into frame & extended tail where sport rack mounts.

The sport rack in the you tube is expensive, but it was on the bike when I bought it. If you are handy or have a friend that works with metal it would not be too hard to manufacture a suitable frame to mount it on. I have done a number of additions were i manufactured the parts, brake extension and highway pegs

Might look into Shad top cases. I don't know much about the earlier Can Ams so I don't know how you'd mount it but they're great top cases. (I just installed a Shad SH58X on my 2021 RT base.)

I wish I did have those metal skills! That rack is expensive but the bike was a deal on the front end so I have excess funds to bring it up to a light touring spec- found one on eBay. Added some floor boards, heated grips, have a brake extension kit to attach and will get a heel/toe shifter fabricated.

I am looking at the Shad top cases- looking for one big enough to put a full face helmet in so I don’t have to drag into a restaurant. The frunk+ Top case + a dry bag bungeed to the passenger seat should be plenty of storage for a “one up” weekend trip. I saw your setup that looks awesome!
