Which Extended Warranty do you have, likes and dislikes
I have 30 days left on my Manufactures warranty and am looking for an extended warranty. I am presently waiting on Riders Advantage to call me back so I can get a quote. I have looked at BEST and would like other options.

After mulling it over, I'm going to go with the BEST warranty. I like that it's directly associated with the manufacturer.
Question: How many here have used an extended warranty...and how many have had no problems and bought the warranty for naught.

BEST Warranty
I have the 'BEST WARRANTY'. I have needed to use it. The $671.00 is a good price for the 3 years. Does it cover everything? NO, but it seems to cover a lot.
Check it out and then make your own decision.

Insurance is something you purchase hoping you never have to use. It does give you peace of mind though, which makes it well worth the price. Especially if you travel.

I got a free Best Warranty on my 2014 RTS. Never had to use it. I have never paid for a BEST warranty yet, but am intending to buy one for my 2019 F3L in September of 2021, before the standard one runs out. Likewise for the new 2020 F3L a couple months before it expires. Murphy's Law will kick in sometimes. Been playing extended warranty roulette on all the other Spyders owned.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

I had a Best warranty on both my spyders, used it to replace the Sprague clutch on my 2014 RS prior to selling it. Purchased three years from I-Motorsports for my 2018 F3-T a few days prior to manufactures warranty expiring. A belated congratulations to ARTraveler on his latest purchase.

I bought the RPM warranty for my 2020. I wanted the longest warranty I could find as this is my last Spyder. I paid a lot of money, my decision, and got a 7 year warranty. No deductible, towing, road service, the works. Tom

My 2012 Spyder was long out of warranty when I bought it in 2015. I decided I wanted an extended and called a local powersports dealer who wrote me a 2 year warranty for my Spyder with Zurich. It came in handy and ended up paying for its self. It had a $50 deductible which didn't bother me. They covered a lot of stuff. I would use them again if the factory extended warranty was not available.

I’ve used Zurich extended coverage on my last 2 Spyders (12 RT & current 17 F3L). Have had I believe 5 claims on the 12 in 5 years, 55K miles) and once on the 17 (3.5 years, 52K miles). Never had an issue with any of the claims. They were 7 year policies and cost about $750, if memory serves me correctly. $50 deductibles for each claim.
The customer service number I’ve used is (888) 835-5063.

I have always been a fan of factory extended warranties rather than aftermarket. However, I purchased the BEST warranty and had a couple of repair items declined by BRP because they were "cosmetic." According to my dealer, approval of a warranty repair is dependent on who picks up the phone at BRP to authorize the repair. Some of the reps are more likely to deny than others. I have also learned that approval also depends on how well your dealer presents your "case" to BRP for authorization to repair. I had one repair, out of three, authorized for repair by BRP. I am not sure I would buy a BEST warranty again. BTW, the "cosmetic" repairs for my Spyder were the headlights getting hazzy on the inside of the lens and the cover for the instrument cluster failing. Both of the issues were reported "covered" by the BEST warranty by other members, but not in my case.
