    Default my garage day today

Today since i am waiting to receive my k & n oil filter from Ron. I decided to put a couple of miles on my 2018 rt . Now with the oil being some what hot i put the spyder on my lift and drained the oil from both plugs. I promised myself that i was going to have the perfect drain with no side seepage on to the skid plates. Well that plan went sour pretty quick. must have been at least 1/2 hour with my air hole pushing the oil off the plates. I removed the oil filter. The Spyder is still on the lift dripping away I purchased six quarts of amsoil metric 10w/40 full synthetic. I had to...read so many pluses about the oil. Should have the filter this week. I am also going to change out the gas filter. it has been near 5 years..so it is time. Yes i did purchase the correct gas line clamps. I also installed my new wheel caps that where a gift from my son for Christmas... Lamonster IPS..I just love the look. It also was the perfect time to clean and polish the back side of the rim. Anyway..that's my day so far...

Sounds like a day well spent! Even LOOKS like a day well spent!!

You wanta come on over & show me how you got your wheels looking that good?!?
My 2013 RT's wheels are the same style, but they've suffered somewhat in the looks department from ryding thru patches of melting bitumen (and maybe also the occasional run on gravel roads... orright already, possibly that 'occasional' should more correctly be 'frequent', but what's about 10 thousand miles or so of gravel between friends?!.... ) so often that these days, no matter what I do in the cleaning & polishing stakes, it seems they never quite achieve that look any more! Your wheels look pretty damn good!

Do you have a dremel tool????? Open up those tiny holes at the drain plugs. Problem solved...

I only use 5 quarts of the Amsoil oil in my Spyder. The BRP gas filter came with the Kit when I changed mine.

Unless I missed something, how do you have "almost 5 years" on a 2018 RT ?
