Default Part ID - anyone know what this is?

Any know what this is. I was working on my seat to installing replacement upholstery and found it on the shop floor. It has 70800 and little clocks the point to 1507. Also has PA66 on it. Almost looks like a tool!

If this is the stock seat, it appears to be the little operating lever for the passenger switch. To check, lift up your seat, remove the switch and look in the hole. Apparently, the purpose of the thing is to provide a more reliable actuation of the switch than just relying on foam pressure alone. The curved end hooks into the slot in the pan. If my old memory serves, mine just fell out when I removed my switch to put it on the other seat. It went back into place working through the hole, but it helps to get mad at it a little.

Yep, the 2018 parts diagram does not show it, the 2016 one does. Thanks Chris

It instructs the nanny that there is additional weight on board so it changes some of its parameters.

The passenger switch is also a connection for the ejection option. It's either a manual or automatic system whichever one the operator has it set to. Manual is self-explanatory. The automatic system is monitored through the intercom system. When passenger usage of that system becomes overloaded the eject system takes over and reduces the distraction. It a safety apparatus.

In a tight left turn it gives a light push on the left cheek and rear seat rider is gonezo.
