    Default 2016 F3-T and a ping sound

So lately when riding, if I turn to the right or left, it can hear and feel a sort of ping sound. Hard to explain.

But it doesn't do it every time. I know it is coming from the front because I went very slowly down a small drop off at the end of a driveway and heard it. I wish I could explain it better. If I drive straight forward, I hear nothing.

any suggestions on what I might look at? Or keep riding and see if it gets worse?

How many miles on it? Jack up the front end and check the ball joints and the heim joints in the steering.

    - And while you're under there, check the sway bar links & heim joints in them too! The OE links are prone to twisting & 'working' until they crack & ultimately break, but during that 'working' process, they can make some odd sounds.

It has about 15K miles. I had the sway bar replaced 2 months ago.

Maybe he didn't snug everything up tight when installing the swaybar

"Ping" is a word that has connotations about engine noise. Is it engine noise? Are you using 87 octane fuel?

No engine noise. It is definitely on the front right end. When I go down a small decline it makes that noise. trying to have my mechanic to look into it for me. I figure he needs to ride it in order to hear it and hopefully identify it.

If you get someone to rock the Spyder back and forth to articulate the suspension. If this creates the noise, a 2nd person may be able to isolate the noise by getting close to it. You can also put your hand on the parts as they articulate (be careful not to get in-between something). You can usually feel something at the same time the noise occurs.
