Recomendations on a portable tire pump to carry on bike

I have been looking at these rechargeable tire pumps on the internet. Anybody have any experience with them.?

I went with a small cheap 12v. I figure since I have a 12v source handy, why pay for rechargeable?

electric can be bulky if you have limited space. I have a ryobi tire pump that is fairly compact. It works very well. and the battery seems to hold its charge. When going on more than a day trip it gets left a home and I use a bicycle pump. I can pump up the tire in a reasonable amount of time if I have to and not have the bulk of a electric pump. The other option would be a co2 inflator. You would need multiple co2 cartridges per tire to fully inflate it.

I have one of these, https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...ght/p/12700020, that I purchased on a recommendation from Ann Meyer when I first bought my Spyder. It plugs into the pigtail of my battery tender and comes with a flexible extension that works fine on the rear wheel. It fits in the bottom of my small Hopnel trunk bag that carries my complete tool kit and first aid supplies. I have not yet had to use it on the road; touch wood.

I bought a cheap Harbor Freight 12 volt compressor and to make it more compact, removed the plastic outer casing. Then installed an SAE connector for attaching to the battery tender wire in the frunk. It and a tire plug kit (Dyno Plug) live in a point & shoot camera case.

That new harbor freight one works well. Used it on my car tires s few times and works fast.

We bought one that is no longer available... so when.we needed a second for our Commander we bought the Harley one

I use Co2 inflator. Couple of canisters and I should be good to go.

I like the aero stitch compressor. Size of a tennis ball. We have used it hundreds of times. Works great!

I just bought a great little unit at my local Harley dealer. Tried it out this morning on the 2114 RTL tires and even on my electric bicycle tires. Lots of volume in a short time and not much noise. Also very compact; it stores very nicely in my RTL's trunk! Great unit for a good price. Check it out: $42.95

I have the Milwaukee M12 compressor. You can set the pressure and it will automatically stop. I carry the charger with a second battery which can also be used to charge a phone or to operate insulated clothing. Additionally, I carry the Stop n Go plug kit. Everything fits nicely in the left side saddle bag.

That is essentially what I have. That's what's inside the plastic housing of most smaller compressors. By removing the housing, you make it smaller. Fits in a point and shoot camera pouch.
