How does the Pedal Commander compare with an ECM flash from a performance standpoint?

20% off most items. Looks like the pedal commander was included?

Technically it doesn't. This is a highly polarizing topic. The Pedal Commander does nothing more than override the throttle by wire commands given more instantaneous throttle curves. It doesn't add any HP, etc. A tune will adjust the fuel air mixtures (this does not). A tune can also give you a better throttle curve - but you are stuck at whatever curve the tuner did - technically you have 2 - the "normal" mode one and the "Eco" Mode one - both which supposedly can be changed by the tuner.
This gives you very fine control over that throttle curve - and allows you to change it to your liking whenever and wherever you want. Many posts about the Pedal Commander both here and an FB and those posts are typically filled with folks who love and rave about it as well as some folks who have never tried one who are absolutely adamant it's not worth the money - get a tune instead.
I fully intend to get a tune - but have also been intrigued by this - and so for a discounted price - I'm willing to give it a go. I've read several folks who say even after a tune - they felt the Pedal Commander gave them something "more" and was worth it.
BUT again - it technically does nothing for performance - what it does it allow you to speed up or slow down the throttle response.

Ordered the Pedal Commander. Small investment to add some quicker response. May add ECM flash later.

I like mine and may someday get a tune but the PC has satisfied my need for speed for now.
What setting are you using?
