Veterans Day - Free Oil change at Jiffy Lube
Veterans on Wednesday Nov 11.
Hello All,
I just received an email from Jiffy Lube. Free oil changes for veterans on Wednesday Nov 11. I checked with my usual Jiffy Lube in Carson City and they confirmed the email. Its for the basic 5 qt change without the extra services.
All you need to show is proof of service such as a STAR on your drivers lic or a Vets ID card or a DD214.
I initially took this post down due to the negative comments posted.
In retrospect the negative comments are childish and ill deserved for a service that is giving back to our Veterans.
Thank you to all of our Veterans and Active Duty forces.

No offense, but I have no interest in letting Jiffy Lube anywhere near my car. Sometimes what you get is worth what you paid for it.
Doubly so in this case.

Bulk recycled oil at best. Personally I use 100% synthetic in my cage - wouldn't come near Jiffy Lube . . . JMHO

Agreed, I am a veteran, but nobody works on my truck except me. I do my own oil changes with the recommended grade of oil and take the used oil to the reclaim site.

Applebys used to give vets a free lunch on Veterans' Day. Not sure if they still do in current conditions.

I am not a veteran, but I would like to thank all of you that have served!! Without you we would not have the freedoms we do have, you are each and everyone to be admired and thanked.
Haze, thank you for thoughtfully posting this as a service to those who served.
I am surprised that some chose to turn it into something negative and I apologies to you for that.

Yeah, they still do it. The VA sent me links to all the free or discounted services they had on file. I won't be going to any of them. I am going to a Veterans Day Service at the local Veterans Cemetery tomorrow.
