    Default What's wrong with time/space?

I think there's something wrong with the space/time continuum. I timed it today. It look a little over 5 minutes for me to ride my Ryker from home to the Post Office. it took a little over an hour for me to ride from the Post Office back home. Weird and a little scary.....

We had a lady 4'11" in the trike class this week. For her first take off on a Ryker(only thing that allowed her to reach brake pedal), she did a burnout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the last phase of the riding test yesterday a guy just learning to ride his beautiful new to him 2019 HD Tri-glide crashed it into the tires stacked along the cement block wall. He had it delivered to the training school on Thursday saying he had never ridden a bike before. His plan was to pass the course and ride it home Friday. I left before he was given his second try at that 4th phase, which was the decreasing radius corner. We were all saying leave it another day and get a ride home. To the rest of the class it was like watch a horror movie, on the throttle off on off on hit the stack of tires and almost go over the handle bars. His rear was like 3 feet above the seat and he was 6'4" and 380 pounds.

It has to do with the rotation of the earth.

That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!

What color is your Ryker ?
It's a known fact that dark colors, like black absorb, all light, and lighter colors like white reflect colors.
Thus, if you have a dark Spyder, it will be faster during the day and slower at night.
If you have a lighter Ryker (light colored panels) it will be slower during the day than it is at night.

I read that on the internet, so it must be true.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Agree with the OP. There is something wrong. Happened to me almost daily when in Alaska. My mail box was about three blocks away. When I returned with the mail there was always 50 to 100 miles extra on the odometer.

I was attributing it to older age, but I am thinking the scientific approach is the way to go.

My mailbox is now at the end of the driveway, so no Spyder needed. The miles still go on the bikes almost daily though.
