    Default Pit Bull Lift

I saw this today and thought it a good deal for someone living in the Delavan, Wisconson area:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pit-Bull-Mo...sAAOSw5wRflHrH

I have nothing to do with it - just saw the listing.

There is a version close to this offered at Harbour Freight for 80.00. Picks up 1500lbs.

Harbor freight one is a cheap made in China and is very unstable. I tried it!

The difference is night and day.

A Pit Bull lift or J&S lift are much more robust than a Harbor Freight our Craftsman or just about any similar lift.

The Pit Bull sells for about $600 plus shipping. There is no comparison to the HF lifts and other Chinese models that you see on eBay and Amazon.

Yes sir, the HF lift is fairly cheesy. I have one because it was given to me as a gift. I use it carefully to lift the spyder up in the air and then I stabilize the spyder with two small jack stands under the front shocks and a single car tire ramp under the rear tire. Then I remove the lift and I have plenty of room to work. By the way, if you have any HF jack stands check them to make sure they lock up properly. HF had some that failed and collapsed.
