I must really be missing something here, I have never had the urge to hoard TP in a crisis (well .... ok... there was that trip to Cebu City where i ate something that had me running to the loo for both ends every few mins) shiver!!!!

Did you notice that was posted immediately after Halloween? The shortage is due to all those who wrapped themselves in TP to dress as mummies.

I think you're on to something there. Toilet paper production is in full swing these days. My local grocery has shelves full of it although not necessarily the top name brands they had up until the CV hit.
