Faulty assembly.
Bombardier Recreational Products issued a recall on the 2020 Can-Am Ryker due to a possible front wheel assembly flaw.
According to the documents published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Bombardier estimates that one percent of the 6,866 vehicles targeted by this recall could present the problem. The vehicles affected have been produced between August 16, 2019, and March 27, 2020.
In the Defect Notice Report, Bombardier describes the flaw as a problematic front wheel assembly. The vehicles are delivered without their front wheels and their installation is performed by the dealer as part of the pre-delivery preparation.
In some cases, the red locking clip designed to key the nut in place might have been installed improperly which could lead to the wheel nut not come loose. In the most extreme cases, the vehicle could lose a wheel, which increases the risks of a crash. There have been three reports of wheel loss in the United States as of September 30, 2020.
Recall 20V-632 begins November 2, 2020. Owners affected by this recall will receive a letter in the mail between November 2 and 5 to notify them of the safety recall and to invite them to visit their BRP dealer to have the front wheels checked and to perform any required repairs. Owners can also check the locking clip themselves to confirm whether the clip is installed properly or not. If it isn't, they are welcome to make arrangements to have the vehicle transported to the dealer.

I thought this recall was for a badly installed keeper spring on the front wheel nuts. And while this is part of the recall. The major portion deals with the already known issue of cracking wheel mounting rings. This is serious and I didn't want to leave my original post up making it sound any less than what it is.

Initially my ryker built Dec 2018 was not effected because the batch of wheel nuts after Jan 20, 2019 were suspected- Now I see my Ryker is also showing recall so they must be replacing them All?

I bought a 2020 Ryker 900 in September from Barney's in Brandon, FL. Great place, took care of me and made the process very easy and flawless. Received notice of the recall last week and took it to the dealer this past week. Was in and out and also had the 1st oil change done since I have over 800 miles on it. Next oil change they told me should be around 3000 miles.
Initial oil change and check-up on bike was going to be $312, however; I purchased the maintenance agreement when purchased so it didn't cost this time around. Probably paid for the 4 maintenance checks ahead of time with the warranty, but I'm okay with that. Also purchased the extended warranty and wrote a check for the whole sha-bangs. Rode home a happy man.
Bike is great and I have no complaints. Love the ride and enjoy every mile.! Ride on and be safe my friends.
