Time to sharpen ski edges and get out the fast wax.
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

Actually it's time for the "rock" skis until there's a decent base. I can't wait..

Thanks for the reminder, need to get my ski pass. Half price until the end of the month.
There’s about 4 inches of white stuff on the ground now, but I’m not quite ready to give up riding yet.

Not looking forward to when it snows in Maryland. We Marylander's don't do well in snow (IMHO) - not in road clearing and not in driving.
Sometimes cannot get out of neighborhood for several days.
I live relatively close to two major cities - Washington DC and Baltimore, MD - heavy traffic
Usually first snow is in Mid-late November.
Almost every year I get to ride some in every month. Not until salt has been washed away by mother nature.

I lived in northern Indiana most of my life and dealt with snow on the ground from November to April then salt until May or so. Kind of limited my riding. I moved down to NC about 3 years ago and I'm LOVING it. Winters are between minimal and non existant. I'm riding 12 months/year. With that said, I know a guy who lives in upstate NY. He had a Kawasaki Nomad that he'd ride 8 months/year and bought an RT so he could ride the other 4 months. Not sure I'm that hard core but I know it can be done.

I live in Utah, lots of snow but it hasn't started yet, major drought going on right now. Cold in the mornings but beautiful by noon. I used to ski but knees and hips put an end to that. When Mike started skiing again I went and rented some stuff to try it out, yeah that was a fiasco. I would move south for the winter but wife "loves the four seasons". Guess I'll be putting Dragon away soon. Tho I usually find a few days every month I can ride.

Up here in South Western British Columbia, I try to ride every month of the year. We do get snow, but very little and it does not hang around. You folks who ski....any time it snows, I curse you. Playing in the snow just encourages it, and I certainly don’t wish to encourage the snow. I lived in the North for 50+ years and have had more than my share of shovelling the *****. just my .02 worth.

I was told it snowed in my old stomping grounds this weekend. Glad I have moved to the South.
So far, it's still all mostly green, 50 degrees this AM and raining off an on. Has been very dry, so the rain is welcomed. The winter grade jackets are out now and the chaps are ready when needed.
Last winter, we got dusted twice and it was gone in a couple hours. Rode on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years...just because I could. I was breaking in my new F3 last year and had 3,500 miles by late March.
I am feeling your pain and hoping that your lay up season will be short.

I’m in the same situation as you ART. My old grounds got it a few days ago also (Fort St. John, BC). I moved down here 5 years ago. Temperature approx the same as you, annnnd, I don’t have to shovel rain!

74*F today in the foothills of NC. Seems like a great time for a ride after work. You guys need to move farther south.

Even on the really hot, humid days here, I'm literally 5 miles away from the mountains. A 30 minute ride gets me to the top of the mountains where it's almost always 10* cooler and 20% less humidity. Truly, I live in the perfect place to ride.

They do have summer here. It does get hot, humid, and stormy. So far, I am liking all three. We do have the mountain tops within 10 miles also. And yes, on five to ten degrees cooler, and with a little bit of breeze.
