Default pulling freedom trailer with Rs

was there a proven hitch for RS to pull a freedom trailer and do i have to rig my own wire or is there a pre-made ones?
i saw couple of hitches on eBay but i don't know if they actually would work properly.
    thank you in advance.

    2015 RS.
It looks like choices are show chrome and USA trailer shop for hitches.
Trailer shop’s is cheaper, $170 and comes with 1 7/8” ball(don’t know if that’s the right size for freedom trailer) and show chrome is $230-ish without the ball.
I don’t know how much difference there are between two but show chrome’s is secured with 3 bolts on each side to trailer shop’s 2 bolts.
Also, it looks like trailer shop’s mounts to existing axle but show chrome’s comes with long bolt( not sure if that bolt replaces axle)???

Long bolt goes through axel not a replacement, least on most SPYDER hitches I’ve seen
Late thought does the RS have “trailer mode” like the ST?

I towed a trailer with both my 08 GS and my 11 RSS, with no issues .... no trailer mode .... there were no " plug n play " connections at the time I made my own Hitches. So they were hard wired into the rear harness.... worked fine. When BRP decided to make a Hitch for the RT series Spyder, that swing arm and the ones on the GS & RS models were the same, and using the same motor. .... Either of the Hitches you mentioned will work fine for your RS ..... good luck ... Mike

Thank you both. I think I will go with USA trailer shops hitch for less and free ball if it’s all the same and hope that ball is the right size.
I can make my own harness if I know which plug to get, I guess.
Tapping into marker/brake lights isn’t hard.

It makes it easy to install and remove the hitch without loosening the wheel nut

    ???
So hitch with long bolt installs without removing axle nut?
So the hole on each side is large enough for axle nuts to sit in it or the bracket on each side just go over it?
That will be a big plus!

Yes, had the show chrome on my 2014 worked great. Something to think about, that hitch is connected to the swing arm, lots of movement and shaking going on while towing; for WIW the three bolt gives you one extra bolt of security while towing. I used Posi taps to go into my wiring harness, never a electrical problem over three years.
All the great movements in the world began with a cup of coffee!
