Real nice ride, but the $25 per motorcycle entry fee to Shenandoah National Park is not enough to keep anyone from riding Skyline Drive at any time. The fee is good for 7 days if you want to stay a while. Getting in free would be an excellent excuse to just take off an go. It is a very scenic ride!

Fortunately, I got my Senior lifetime pass a few years ago. I get up there on part of the Drive at least once or twice a month, weather permitting, and being about 90 minutes away also helps.

The Senior lifetime pass was well worth the few bucks when I got it; has gone up in price but whenever I'm gone overnight it goes in the wallet. You can never tell...
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
