Default Stainless Steel Front Grill on a Spyder F3T

Stainless Steel Front Wire Grill Spyder F3T

I have never been a fan of the wire grill BRP use in the front housing on the F3T
    I call it “Chicken Wire”
No one makes a replacement wire Grill that I would like, so I decided to make my own
It had to be made in 2 pieces because of the curve in the existing wire grill/housing
I purchased some 304 Stainless Steel perforated sheets with 5mm holes in it
    Each piece was 500mm x 200mm and 1mm thick

I removed the existing wire grill and removed the plastic tabs
I cut the top piece to be 500mm x 60mm
    Bent to match the curve
The bottom piece was ok the size was the correct size
A friend helped bend the sides of the bottom piece to fit in the recess of the existing housing and again it was bent to match the curve of the existing housing
Both Stainless Steel sheets were held by cable ties and edges protected by a trim
All fitted in and tested and the running temperature of the Spyder is the same as before
I think the Stainless Steel perforated sheets looks so much better
