Default 2020 RT Frunk, and saddlebag lining help

This old fart can't remember and can't find 2008 posts where someone used material: felt or thin carpet with a soft side or? to line their Frunk.

I did the same on my 2008 RS, and would like to do the same with RT.

    Appreciate any and all ideas?

BuRP makes a liner for the frunk. It's standard in the RT Limiteds but you can buy it separately for the base models. If you start gluing material in there, you won't be able to access the battery.

Not my plan - no glue

Just out of curiousity (it's not my bike so it really doesn't matter to me), why would you put the time and money into doing something yourself when you can buy an OEM liner straight from BuRP that you know will fit? I think the OEM liner is about $150, maybe less. Again, just curious.

Because I'm frugal (OK cheap) and I can line frunk and the two saddle bags for $20. Lining will not be permanently attached and yes I'll be able to get to battery.

Just want to soften interior when carrying some things.

To each their own - sometimes no rhyme or reason - lol
