Newbie Here. I’m looking at buying a used 2018 Spyder RT... My question is...
What is the difference in the RT and RT Limited? This one looked like the limited to me so I am confused on the differences in the two. Thanks for any help you can give me. This unit has under 600 miles on it and is local to me.

and on that first post.
The difference between a base RT...and RTL...real chrome, cruise control, radio, auto airbag system, garmin and driving lights.
The intermediate RT-S has all the above except for real chrome (colored plastic on S), and garmin.
I think I got it all.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Thanks for you reply. They are asking $19k. What is your opinion on the value of this spyder? It is practically brand new with less than 600 miles and has been garage kept. It’s white and in perfect condition.

If that's the bike then it's an RT and not a limited. The sticker on the side bag says as much. Plus it has the older front fenders. Also, I don't see the GPS attached.

What year is it?

2018 RT Limiteds didn't come w/GPS as they had the new BRP Connect.
Lunatic--If you want a good deal on a 2018 RT Limited, PM me. I know where one's at. Not local to you but a screaming deal.

That appears to be a base model, definitely not a limited, way overpriced.

I'm almost there on the same page with you. My 2020 RT has been a challenge - unlike my 2015 F3-S, which was first year for F3's.
Hip/knee riding pain - intimidating to me and my dealer tech. is the removal of long long mostly snap off panels. Very real potential for scratching/gouging/breaking panels - who's to say who did the damage, me or them.
Having to remove multiple panels just to get to a part under one of those Panels.
Once you see part not easy to get to - even the oil filter - have to move a part to even see the dang filter.
IMHO - RT is the most time consuming and hardest BRP on road vehicle to maintain/repair and MOD.
Don't get me wrong - I love everything else about the 2020 RT and have even been going against my Doctor's advice (she said: "Listen to me stop riding it NOW") in trying to figure out a way to keep it.

I should have explained her comment - she was only referring to the RT and not motorcycles in general. Since I ride pain free on two wheelers and Spyder F3 - probably the Ryker as well (haven't sat on one yet - local dealers seem to never have stock).
I considered Ryker's but not a fan of black - prefer white and lighter colors: easier for cagers to see- although sometimes they don't see anything. From watching videos, the Ryker's appear to be a blast and easy to MOD with lots of MOD choices being offered by third parties.
Ryker of course significantly less expensive - 2 for the price of 1 RT/F3-T.
And I agree - There is something about getting out and about on a motorcycle (especially now with COVID) that is exciting and relieves stress. I ride during low volume traffic - early mornings/late night.
Even looking at and modding motorcycles reduces stress for me.
I actually prefer night - cool/clear nights are the best.

Still looking. I did stumble across a 2019 RTL Gray/Chrome demo with 200 miles on it for $19,795.00. Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger. Any and all feedback is appreciated ! ; )

I checked KBB for you and that seems to be in line with retail price. U might want to try it - I just googled KBB motorcycles - they give average trade-in and average retail from dealer.
