2020 Spyder F3-S trans issue
First post... Just purchased new 2020 f3-s. 8 days later, 350 miles on way to work bike trans fails... limp mode, no go. Dead on side of road.
Had towed to where i purchased. Seems that 2 modules failed... needs new wire harness etc. Any similiar breakdowns out there? Dealer tells me that
only one module available from BRP? Now what?

This is the first one like this I see for with only 350 miles. You will need to give your dealer time to work it out with BRP. This is where you see how good your dealer is. Nothing happens fast I can tell you that. Just my opinion now, a good dealer if you bought the bike there would offer you a loaner, work with BRP to resolve the issue and if they can not fix in reasonable time; give you another new 2020 F3s. That would be a very good dealer that would push BRP to back their product and provide customer service for a defective product that will happen sometime.

UPDATE
F3 is still sitting. Have reached out to BRP everyday and have been told the same thing.
" we're very busy.. rep will call you when she can... there are so many e-mails that she can only respond when she can".
total bs i'm afraid.
How can BRP sell a product, have it fail, then not even respond...
I have a 21000 worthless paperweight that I'm paying for...
Getting pissed off very quickly now...

It's time for a heart to heart chat with the general manager of the dealership. Tell him the situation is totally unacceptable and you want him to authorize a loaner until they get your Spyder fixed.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

You could try asking the dealer to swap out the modules from a Spyder he has in stock and than install the new modules into the stock Spyder when they come in . It's a long shot but I think worth asking for .

Reliability ain't Spyders' strong point.
Sorry to read of your troubles.

This is what I did when my DPS failed. They said 30-45 days for a new one. I pointed to a floor model and said, you have one right there. I'll take that one. And the dealership pulled the DPS from that one and I was on my way.
