    Default TPMS installation

Has anyone used a valve stem extension in order to install the TPMS sensors ??
I find on my 2017 F3T that the factory stems are too short.

If you are referring to FOBO, NO!
    Not required.
    For others, no idea.
The "recommendation" in the FOBO 2 directions are purely a CYA.

Maybe true for the FOBO 2s, but the set I used on my GL1800 will not work on my 2019 F3-T front wheels. The stems do not protrude from the wheel far enough.

I had no problem putting FOBO on my 17 F3-T. Did they change the stem length?

The stems are stupid short on my 2018 F3L, these extensions should work.

Looks like the extensions would work but I'm concerned about having another screw-on connection per each wheel that might fail. I suspect the reason BRP uses such short stems is the fact that they're more protected from damage. I'm thinking I'll wait until my first tire change and go with a TPMS that is internal to the tire.

A quick trip to just about any tire store and a few dollars and 10 minutes time would get a slightly longer valve stem installed. That's if you just carry the tires in.

If you have a floor jack, you can break the beads at home (See below). Lots of work. just add extenders like these mentioned above:
