The next day with the tender showing a green light tried to start it, but the same thing happened. Tighten the battery bolts down and checked the battery voltage which read 12.93 volts. Tried starting it - same results."
Was told that they are working on it, but they could not get it to connect to BUDS. They also told me that they received another Spyder with the same issue of not starting. I hope they find out and fix it soon as we start a month of travel starting on Sept 11th.
I was not able to speak to the tech who is working on it, so I hope that they opened a case with BRP about this. I talked to the dealer that sold me my Spyder in MN and asked if they have encountered this issue. Was told that they have not, but would contact me if they find out anything.
Please keep us posted.

Not good news when the dealer can't fix it. Hope BRP gets it done for ya, we are waiting for some good news, especially us 2020 RTL owners.

Final Update,
Received a call that my Spyder is ready for pickup. Turns out that the ECU fuse was blown. Don't know why that happened, but they replaced it and all is fine. I will pick it up Monday

Not even a battery, but a fuse for the ECM. That explains why it would not connect to BUDS.

Well, that's good, hope it was just a bad fuse and you do not have any other gremlins walking around in there!

Finial Update.
My 2020 is now home If felt great to be riding it again. Asked the service writer which fuse was blown, but he did not know and the tech who fixed my Spyder was off. I looked in the manual and I see there are two fuses with ECM listed. Both in the left fuse box. Fuse position #2 wake up ECM 10amp, and position #5 ECM 5amp. I will make sure I have spares for both.

I agree, and that's why I will make sure I carry extra. If it happens again I will find a dealer who will chase the problem down.
