    Default Rear Wheel Removal Help

    Wish I knew how to post a picture.
    Cannot get shock bottom bolt out. Got the nut off and started to back the bolt out, it got at an angle now and I cant move it anywhere.

    You need to remove the weight of the bike off of it. that bolt supports the entire rear of the bike.

    Some folks here had said " sure it's fine to lift the rear from Under the shock EYE .... I have said NO, not if you want to remove the BOLT .... you need a wood block that is WEDER than the two shock brackets that hold the shock ..... use those as the lift points .... this prevents any pressure of the shock and shock bolt ..... so lower the spyder, get the piece of wood and try again ...... god luck ....     Lift the bike at the rear of the main frame. Then lift the wheel so the shock isn't compressing or expanding and the bolt will slide out. Need to take pressure of the shock.
