After market exhaust - is a re-flash necessary?
If I install a after market exhaust will I need to have it flashed at dealer or will it be fine the way it is.

I belive you will be ok. Spyder should adjust to the new exhaust. I am sure some one will post on their results. Bruce

Last I looked " Monster Fuel or Wicked " asks you what power Mods you have on your Spyder..... They adjust their tune to the Mods ..... Mike

To get the most out of a flash. I would assume you need to get freer intake and exhaust. Seems a waste to go 1/2 way on a mod like that.

Trust me----- the dealer won't " re-flash" the ECM!!!
But the Monster or Wickit ECM flashes REALLY work.

NO!
After replacement, start engine and let it idle @ 10 mins.
Turn it off and you are now good to go. The Spyder updates automatically.

If it's just sound you are looking for, go with the cat delete and a Two Brothers S1R. You may never hear anything else again. Not kidding you one bit.

Nope, immediately after the swap just start the bike and let it idle for a bit...5-10 minutes should be a great plenty. Then shut it down for 5 minutes, then start it up and go ride.
