Tinted or not? Vented or not? My only concern over vented is that the vents may generate wind noise
I just spoke with Slingmods and they don't have a 2020 windshield. The F4 doesn't currently work for the 2020. I thought that was the one!

My F4 windshield DOES work on my 2020 RT Limited. I have the standard height, but extra wide vented shield that I installed on my 2014 RTS. The transfer to my new Spyder did require different rubber grommets for the mounting holes which were graciously provided by F4.

That's interesting. The guys there said it wouldn't, but you are the second person I've heard that says their F4 does fit.

Hey Don, I'm glad you cleared that up. I really think I need a new/different windshield. The original OEM is generating a great deal of wind noise/roaring through the holes on my 2020 RTL. I covered them and it got much quieter. When I removed the covers, the noise came back. I am looking at this shield: https://www.slingmods.com/canam-spyd...toms?vehicle=1 Do you think that would that solve my issue? It's a lot of coin if it doesn't. I know the OEM is 25" and I am thinking of the 28" for a little more wind protection and less buffeting from big trucks. But it seems to me (my opinion only) that more shield would catch more wind like a bigger sail. Thoughts?

WingmanRT, Kim and I both ride spyders, me on a F3T and she has a RT. Kim prefers the plus 3 with a vent. This is 28" tall or 3" taller than stock and 5" wider. Remember if you go with a taller shield and wider you still have the adjustment. When I ride the RT and I am 6' tall, I ride with it up most of the time unless we are in slow traffic and then sometimes I move it down and look over to get a little more air. We live in Florida so sometimes you need that extra air.
Give me a call anytime at 941-347-7496 and I would be glad to discuss the options with you.

Don, I contacted SlingMods and I believe they contacted your company. My only questions at this point are: I am also thinking about the 28" tinted. Does the vent (when open) generate a lot of wind noise? That is what I am trying to avoid. The other question is that the F4 28" shield will fit on my 2020 RTL with no modifications? I believe I can replace the shield, but am leery of any drilling, etc.

I did not realize that you guys sold direct.

    Thanks in advance.

Does anyone make plugs to fill those holes in the 2020 windshield?

I couldn't find any but that doesn't mean they're not out there. I ended up buying a new F4 windshield. Pretty pricey solution, but I couldn't stand that wind noise any more.

Yes the older RT shields we sold fit just fine on the 2020 RT. Also you will not get any noise out of the 5 position adjustable vent that we put in them. No drilling just take the old shield of and re-install. We sell direct but also have great dealers out there as well.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/363146933895?ul_noapp=true I just saw this on ebay with the vented holes-I was hoping i could get some height as I have a actual vent in the center and don't like it....the one I have is stock and vented in the center but is shorter and narrower than the original--I like more coverage but don't think I'd like the wind rushing up from the open holes

7Jurock will make whatever you want. They just made for me a wider and taller windshield with a flip to my specs and charged no more than if it were a stock one.

I bought a 7Jurock windscreen (stock height/2" wider with a recurve) for my '18 RT. I kept it when I traded. It doesn't flow enough air for NC summers but it should do nicely for winters. I think when spring arrives, I may buy a stock height/wider/tinted/vented F4.

We just installed the Can-Am adjustable vents. Wish we had done it before our trip this summer, but we can tell there is a BIG difference in rider comfort.

In the "stock" position, they are pretty much like the stock deflectors, just a little bit bigger. Not sure if that is noticeable. In the middle position, there is a HUGE rush of air to the passenger's lower body. In the rear "scoop" position, the rider gets some of that air on the lower body, too. I think it also helps relieve some of the vacuum formed by the windshield, as there is a bit less turbulence.

I have the stock 12" for hot weather; a 7Jurock 16" normal width and a flip for trips and not so hot weather; a 7Jurock 18" extra wide with a flip for cold weather.

    The 17" normal width

I may have to pony up the dough for a new winter windscreen sooner than I thought. I just tried to swap out the 7Jurock screen I had for my '18 RTL to my '21 RT and there's no way it fits. The mounting holes are much bigger on the 7Jurock. The '21 windscreen has holes just big enough for the bolts. I laid one on top of the other, too. Nothing lines up. Looks like I'll have a windscreen for sale soon.

Monk....are those so large that a grommet wouldn't help? Or rubber washers?

I don't know if a set of stock pre-2020 grommets would work or not. It doesn't appear the holes even come close to lining up although I didn't measure and holding them one behind the other isn't a perfect guage due to the curvature. It sure looked like the mounting holes were way off. If I think about it, I'll give Don @ F4 Customs a call tomorrow. He'd know for sure. I mean, if it would work, I'd have a winter windscreen. I really wanted to use that 7Jurock on my Saturday trip. I'm going to start out @ about 33*. Brrr.

There is flex. I have had to push on the center to widen and squeeze on the edges to narrow. A trip to Ace Hardware fastener department solved a lot of dilemmas for me.

Hmmmmm....Not doubting you, sir, but any other windscreen has just laid on the frame w/o having to do anything. If I get a chance tonight after work, maybe I'll take the stock windscreen back off to see if I can wiggle the 7Jurock in place. Not sure what I'd need to attach it, though. I don't want to jerry rig something just to have it scratch the windscreen or fall off going down the road.

Warm the windshield with a heat gun or hair dryer to make it more pliable. I had my wife help as more hands are needed to insert the screws when the holes align.
