    Default Lost ignition key switch spring in my 2014 Spyder RS

    Help!
    I lost the spring that is in the key switch housing. I can’t find it in parts diagrams and need help finding one

    And what effect does " not having that spring do " ???? ..... There are hundreds of separate Spyder parts that just arn't available .... I think that would be the case for that spring, I hope for your sake I'm mis-taken ..... Mike

    I’m reminded of the story of the Armorer that needed a new spring for the firing mech of a howitzer. He requested it, but local supply didn’t have it. Supply ordered the firing mechanism, complete, thinking they’d strip out the spring, and have the rest of the parts against future needs.

    Warehouse didn’t have the mechanism so they ordered the next larger assembly, thinking they’d strip out the mech and have the rest of the parts.....

    And so on up the line....

    About 2 months later the Armorer got a call to come pick up his new howitzer.

    If you order the spring, the dealer will order the switch, and so on and so on, until you pick up your new Spyder......
