juice box settings...which ones work for you and why?
i've got a 2009 with dual TWO BROS. exhaust and the JUICE BOX.
i've been reading this site, and a few others, looking for settings on the JUICE BOX that work. right now my JB is still stock from TB's. i went thru the recall update then to fix everything after that i did the disconnect battery for 20 mins then idle for 15 mins. much better after that but still i have some backfiring......i guess i want to know where to start dialing this in using the JB.
i know it can run better so where do others with a similar set-up run their JUICE BOX?

Lamonster have you made any changes to the juice box since the update. Are you having any of the hesitation?

Thanks I will try them again I tried your settings with the MBRP pipe and did not feel it was that suited I now have the TBR Alum with P1 tips and will check it out again.

Lamont now your running the Hindle how do you find it compares power wise to other pipes you have used? 4hp is what they mention it adds.

Lamonster is mode 5 & 6 at 0.5 or 5. Just askin mine need a little tweakin after recall and was gonna use your settings as a baseline

Be nice for people to update settings every so often collectivly we may find consistant settings or different strokes for differant folks?
I still have a very very slight hesitation cruising at 68 I'm tryin to work out.

I'm pretty happy with my settings right now. My rollon all the way to redline is very strong and my plugs look great. I'm a happy Spyder owner.

After taking a 300 mile ride just after the update without the JB I ran into the same problem a lot are seeing, sputtering coming about 250 miles into it at low speed. Now after I reinstalled my JB I was hoping the problem would be cured but ran into the same thing, ran good for the first 250 miles then slowing down to pass through a small town the engine sputtered badly.[Hindle Evol. filter,JB same settings as Lamont has posted].I hope BRP gets that next patch to the software out quickly.

Question.
I now have a Two Bro single slip on, with a performance breather red in color. No air box. I just bought a JB and will install it.
Next month I'm doing the Smokies. But, I don't want to be running those mountain roads with the 2 Bros muffler. Don't want to mess with mother nature. What I want to do is put my stock muffler back on for the trip. What would that do to my system?? Could I leave the JB connected and disconnect the battery. Will it re-program my computer????

You need some free-flowing air for the Juice Box...the stock will render it useless...that's fine as you can 'turn it off' when you have the stock pipe on. (First 3 settings to 0.5)...
As far as resetting the computer, you can do the ole battery disconnect and idle for 15 minutes as you did when you first connected the Two Bros...likely will help. These were the instructions for the hindle as well...I would assume it works in both directions...I've heard that many have had problems when not following this procedure.

I essentually had the same problem after the update and I leaned the cruise mode down a couple of steps. Since then ( almost 1000 miles) I have played with the JB and have it running very well now and actually I have ran the cruise mode settings back up some. Unlike others on this forum I never could see any effect in disconnecting the battery and with the BRP bags it's a PIA. I just drove mine and the more I drove it the better it ran after tweaking the JB. Think the ECU will correct itself up to a point. BTW I am running the Hindle with the ESI green filter and JB.

I am at 3,6,6,3,4.5
I have a Hindle and oiled foam airfilter with no air box.
Runs pretty darn good and gets 130 or so miles to the fuel light.
It does still have a very minor flat spot around 4000RPM but I think that might be a lean spot in the factory curve which no add on box can fix.
(If there is a "dip" in the main map then there will be a "dip" in the modified map.)
To really fix that you would have to remap the main system. (not currently an available option)
I had a "Yosh box" for the Jap bikes and you could set the map in the main ECU. You plugged it in, set what you wanted and then disconnected it after hitting the save to ECU button.
You might be able to do this with BUDS but I dont think the dealers are going to do it for you. (EPA rules and junk)
Maybe someday, someone will build a programmer (like a superchip, Smarty or Bullydog) for it.
All in all, I am very happy with the way it runs and the Juice box!

Here's where I 'm at:
Evoluzione Race air intake
Custom airbox with cold-air intakes
Fuel Pressure mod set back to BRP spec of 51-52
Hindle
Running JB at: 6,6,6,2,2 right now.
Was running mode 4(cruise) lower but was getting some 'sputter' around 5,000 RPMS when cruising.
My MPG is better than when I had the fuel pressure up at 63... I knew I was running far too rich. Not sure if I'm running too rich right now... but I'd rather be a bit on the rich side than lean.
Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

I just ordered a juice box from NMN and pretty much have no clue how I am going to set it. I only have a hindle...any suggestions?
I have all the updates done and it rides pretty nice right now (no sputtering) but it does backfire (loudly) often.
