Default Passenger phone holder and charging

First time poster, I have searched the forms but I can't find where anyone has installed a charging port and phone mount for the passenger. (I have a 2020 RT (not Limited). I don't have the top case. Need some suggestions on how to go about doing this.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Motorcycle Dave has a good holder for a passenger's phone. Get a long battery tender lead and run it up under the seat for a passenger phone charging option. Store it under the seat when not being used.

How about just put it in your pocket.

Sure you can, just put a portable charger in with the phone. On our 2015 RT-S there is a hole plug to the rear of the handle. I removed the plug and reamed out the hole and ran a wire from the trunk lighter socket to the new hole and installed a usb port in there and in the trunk, and put a phone holder on armrest. Use a retractable usb cord for "Managements" phone.

I say unless the passenger is giving directions or has to change the music on the Bluetooth, put it in the back where she can charge it and sit back and smell the roses and be unconnected!! I can just see a very expensive phone going down the road without it's owner!! just saying!!

I can see that you've said your 2020 RT doesn't have a trunk/top case, but what about under the cover where the trunk would go on the Limited versions? Or in the panniers?? You've still got those, don't you??

I can't find a customer assy circuit to connect to. there is the large plug receptacle that would be used if I had a top case, but don't have a way to connect. I do have two blanks that would be used for the heated passenger seats. I was just trying to find out if anyone had installed one on a 2020 RT so I could pic their brain.
