Parking brake lock
I installed the parking brake lock on my Ryker this morning. I drilled the hole a tad bit too large, but nothing to do about it now. Was an easy install, but removing that air filter cover and putting back for the first time was a bit of a pain in the butt. Hope I don't have to do that too often.
When we were done, my wife told me to take the Ryker for a little road test to make sure nothing was gonna fall off..... Smart lady.... And no, nothing fell off......

I have found that the placement (forward to back) of the air filter cover makes a great deal of difference in ease of fastening the clips. Try looking at the hook piece from above and sliding it back and forth until it settles then hook the clips.

funny you mention falling off. recently the parking lock on mine fell out while riding. the cylinder actually popped out when i must've hit a hard bump. the lock housing was still there cause its bolted in but the cylinder flew right out of the hole. it was a year old and was replaced by slingmods i think. new one looked like a slightly updated design.

I hope your wife will not fell out the parking lock.
