BPR Connect / AccuWeather Help
When setting up BRP Connect on my iPhone I want to move AccuWeather from the lower section of the screen to the upper part of screen So it will show up on the dash any idea?

How do I get AccuWeather to show up on my dash?

My Spyder is a 2018 RTL

All we can do is email or call BRP Care and bug them to update things. I believe, since the OS update to phones, BRP Connect needs updating and possibly the dash.
Call or email them.
I have a 2018 RTL and it was there and now it's in the app as a new app to install. The dash doesn't see it.

I have the same problem as you the AccurWeather app is in the apps to load but it will not load like all the other apps listed will. AccurWeather did a up date to there app a few days ago wonder if that caused the problem. Can any one help us out?

One thing to check for whenever any app seems to not load/misbehave:
The app may be 'asking' for new permisssions. I've noticed that this (the permissions dialog) will show up on the phone - but not on the spyder's display. Once you click the ok in the permissions dialog (on the actual phone itself) the app will then work as normal. You can check this with the phone still USB attached to the Spyder.
Another tip (Android): Set your lock screen to a long timeout. This way, when you're at a gas station, your phone doesn't revert to a locked screen, which is a no-no for Brp Connect and will force you to unlock the phone. This is a PITA if your phone is sitting in the frunk.
Beware if you have a phone case with a folding cover - some of these will trigger your phone to automatically go into lock screen mode.

BRP Connect has an application list with a 'fingerprint' of the supported app. It periodically gets pushed to your phone.
When AccuWeather updated its app to the new release about 3 weeks ago, its footprint changed.
BRP hasn't removed their thumbs yet and updated our phone inventory of validated apps. So... AccuWeather (and FOBO2) still won't load into BRP Connect.
Send BRP a nastygram, I did as soon as it happened and have yet to get a response from them.

I contacted BRP about the issue of Accuweather not loading to BRP Connect and they are aware of the problem and are working on fixing it.

BRP makes me want to continue drinking.
On your phone is a list of apps that are allowed to be used, and a 'fingerprint' of the supported application. When AccuWeather changed, so did the fingerprint. All BRP has to do is push out a new inventory file with the supported fingerprint and it'll work.
You can see when it was last downloaded:
BRP Connect -> Options -> Information -> Version (look at "update app list")

Not sure what is different about my set up but I was messing around with BRP Connect on my 2018 F3-T today trying to get the Cardo app to work (without success I might add), and I went into the AccuWeather app that was showing on the bikes display. It all seemed to work just fine. Pulled up my locations, gave me the current conditions, and hourly forecast. Ended up deleting it all though. I use Amazon Music while riding, and it won't work through BRP Connect.
Cheers

I discovered that, at least for BRP Connect on iOS, you can tap on "Update app list" and it will download the latest version.

Not sure but it appears if AccurWeather app is updated it will not load to BRP Connect. It may work if you have the old version.

Second that, they just updated the app, and it disappeared from BRP Connect, you can see it in the mobile app list, but it's not displayed on the panel.

I am having that same problem with accuweather on my new 2020 RT and my android phone. Does anyone know if there are any fixes for it as of yet, and if so what I need to do to make it work?
Thanks

Nope, not yet updated by BRP. All you need do is have patience... once BRP gets it together, the'll push an update to your phone and AccuWeather will 'magically' work again.

IN the dash you push joystick in then down to the gear (Settings) then find about. That tells you what firmware you have.
