    Default FREE for the asking!

In March 2018, I bought a used 2010 Spyder RT-S SE5 that had a cup holder that I had no use for.
On another forum I'm a member of, there's a sort of sticky thread about "freecycle", basically a way to give stuff away.

Anyway, sold the original Spyder, and after about one year now I have another (used) 2014 RT SE6.
Nothing so cool as a cupholder, but if anyone would like a pair of key sheaths I'll send them your way.

If I upload the picture right, it's that thing to the left of the key...

That 'freecycle' thing's a great idea, but we've already got a whole Forum section devoted to doing things just like that here Madison altho admittedly, it does have the title 'For Sale by Owner'.... . But that shouldn't & doesn't stop you or anyone else posting up a new thread/advert, even one with an FS: prefix, with a 'for sale price' of $0, or FREE in the title, or even something like 'Give Away' or 'Pay it Forward'

A quick search shows that there's a fair few threads/adverts in the 'For Sale by Owner' section already with FREE in their title.

The whole "For Sale" thing throws me. I'm not selling. I'm giving.

And you can do that in that section; there's nothing stopping you or anyone else - all you need to do is say that you are giving something away in your thread/advert, preferably in the title, just like all the others who have already done so in there....
