Just purchased a 19 RTL New. When I ride solo for approx 25-30 min a suspension fault comes on and flags a code C210A, If i'm riding 2 up it never comes on(or at least hasn't yet). Also when i'm riding 2 up, I feel like i feel all the roads imperfections in the seat. Fault code clears after turning off and on. Called the dealer I purchased it from but they are 3 hrs away. My local shops want me to drop it off with them and leave it(there so busy). Any idea's on whats going on? i really don't wanna lose ride time as Michigan winter is coming soon. Thank you
Possible Causes
Suspension system control take too much time to acheive the target
Compressor or valve could be in default
Suspension is lock mechanically
Service Actions.
Make sure the suspension can move freely
Make sure the valve and compressor are working
My take on what is happening. The suspension is not able to reach the correct ride height in the set time. Since it does not happen when 2 up. I would think it is the release valve is not letting the excess air out or the ride height set point in the cluster is way off and needs to be reset.
thank you for reply. Last night i went for a 2up ride and suspension felt real stiff. today i was solo about 2hrs min and fault never came on. I checked my schrader valve with gauage when i got home(50 min from work). is that normal? or am I doing something wrong. thanks
M6 X 20 Make sure that captured nut is still on the other side or you will have to order on of those also! I look up most of my part numbers off the parts fish on cheap cycle, com
I will assume that you lost the bottom bolt. As mention above it is a M6 X 20. That you should be able to get from any well stocked hardware store. The nut insert should still be there in the swing arm. If it's not, it takes a special tool to install a new one.
