Default F3 LTD Saddlebag won't latch

I have a 2018 F3 Limited and I had the same problem. The bike was a leftover that was in the showroom for 2 years. The rear latch on mine was bent up from the sales staff and idiot tire kickers opening the bag cover and slamming it to close. The latch was pushed up so far that it was above the plastic tab that holds the latch pin. Needless to say it messed up the tabs. It can be a simple fix and you don't need to remove the saddlebag like I did. Just get a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the latch down, the metal is really soft and bends easily. And if you have to slam it to close, it's not right, you should only have to apply moderate pressure against the lid to latch it, NO slamming. Don't know if this will work for you but it did for me. Good luck.
