    Default Three square filters

Another great Shawn Smoaks video, this time showing us some of the innards of the 1330 engine. Beginning at 11:50, Shawn Smoaks shows us where one of the three square screen filters go, but not the other two. Can someone clue me in as to where those two are located and how to access them? And are they part of the oil change kit? Having yet to do an oil change, this is good info to know.

I looked at all the engine parts lists and pictures when I first bought my Spyder and saw the internal screen filters but can't recall the exact location of each. No, they are not part of the oil change kit and as an owner I have never worried about them. Had it not been for the other problem(s) with that particular F3 Shawn would never have had to disassemble the engine to get to the point where he cleaned the screen filter in the video. Don't know either if some of the gravity back flow of the oil after the engine is shut off may reverse wash any of the screen filters.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

I was glad to hear his approval of how good Squared Away's work is, because I had Shawn laser align my F3L. So now I feel very confident that it was "spot on" as he puts it.
Incidentally, Shawn is every bit as nice a guy as he appears to be in his videos - if not more so. I had the alignment done in the slow season and when he was done, he and I had a nice long chat. Sweet!
