Kenda Kanines 3k review
This spring I had my dealer install three Kenda Kanines on my 2018 F3L. I had @ 6000 miles on the OEM tires. Was not happy with the wet weather performance of them. I had the idler pully installed and still had a ton of vibration . So much that at 50+ MPH I could not see google maps on my iPhone that was mounted to my handlebars.
So my observations of the Kenda Kanines:
1. Vibration from front tires is completely gone. I can not even come close to describing how much better the ride quality is of these tires.
2. I had to ride in some nasty rain early this week. Significant improvement shedding water. Never felt ant any time that I was close to hydroplaning. Really stick to the road.
3. Wear. Completely even. They still look new after @3k miles.
I am completely satisfied with these. It will be awhile until I know how many miles I will get out of them But I expect that they will be better than the OEM tires. Oh, they cost less than the OEM tires too.

I am also watching this one with interest. I am good for several thousand miles, new tires on both vehicles, one darkside set and one OEM Kenda set.
When it comes time again...

Now I dont have all three Kanines but do have the rear and noticed a much better smoother feel ride compared to my Automotive tire. I didn't balance the rear , just used Counteract beads.
As mentioned more riding time will be able to give better details on how the Kanines work out.

I don’t believe that there is a “standard” price. All shops have different “shop rates”. Call your dealer and ask them.

KenInMN or someone who has them mounted, could you do me a small favor, measure how tall the front Kanines are from the ground to the top of the tread. Thank you in advance!

I'm thinking the spec sheet is with the tire not mounted. That's why I was asking if someone would measure it on the Spyder. It will be interesting to see what the difference is. SPECS say its 23 inches outside diameter.

I'm getting the Kanine front tires next Friday, just changed the back last year it'll have to wait. Only got 25,000 on the original fronts (yep amazes me too) 16,000 on the original rear might have pushed that one a bit. Happy to hear the Kanine's are wearing well.
