    Default Replace 165 55 15 OEM tires on 2016 F3-S

Has anyone replaced front tires on their F3-S?
What size and how do they perform?

Lots of folks have .... I have the Vredestein Quatrac 5 in 165/60-15 .... fits fine on a 2014 RT ( which has the same fender clearance as the F-3's ) and the Q-5 has the best rating for a tire this size ...... Good luck ..... Mike

I replaced mine with Toyo Proxes T 185/55-15 up front. I couldn't be happier. It's as if the F3 makes turns on rails. It is much more stable if braking quickly and on any road with a little "character" (dips, patches, holes). I run 20# (cold). Put a couple 3/8" lock washers on the front fender bars for clearance.

I forgot to ask about the rim width.
    Factory width is 5"
165/60 calls for 5.5" as the ideal width?

    Started using these this season

So far much quieter than the Federals and better steering . IMO

We have sold and installed many sets of quality, Made in USA Yokohama Avid front tires for the Spyder. Great tire. I am coming up on 40k miles on the set on my F3 and they have lots of tread left. Quiet and smooth, great handling wet or dry. Like having matching brand tires on all 3 wheels too.
