I'm wondering what the advantage is of a "Cat Delete" system(??) Does it make my RLS "Torpedo" muffler louder? Will it cause "error" codes ? Would I have to reprogram the fuel system?? thanks in advance for any explanations out there.

A.) Less heat from the cat converter
    B.) About 15# weight savings
    C.) Better (subjective) sound

I find my cat delete/stock muffler sounds good. Deeper bark/not too loud. Gotta believe a cat delete + aftermarket exhaust would be too loud for me, but again, personal opinion.
Just a cat delete will be fine with a stock muffler. Cat delete + aftermarket exhaust could push the A/F to the leaner side of things. Always will run better with a DJ PV3 or ECU flash, but don't want to hijack any further...

If you have the ecm remapped, removing the cat is like opening the lid on a new can of giddyup-n-go on the 1330. I have the straight pipe cat delete with OEM exhaust and it’s a bit too raspy. Hoping this rls will mellow the sound out a little.
