Default Oil Change - anyone used dip-stick pump/sucker?

I am coming up on my first oil change on my 2020 RT Limited.
Has anyone found a way to remove/pump the oil out of the dipstick tube to avoid the hassle of raising the bike?

This question has come up previously. You are probably not going to like some of the replies.

If you want to try, go ahead and waste your time; you won't be able to get all the oil out without pulling the crankcase and clutch cover plugs. Don't insult your new investment by attempting a sh***y maintenance procedure.

The design of the 1330 engine won't allow any kind of tube to reach the bottom of the oil reservoir. The only way to remove all the oil is to use the drain plugs per the manual.

how much harder is it to do an oil and filter change on the 2020 than
    the earlier 1330 rt's? or not ?

It won't work, don't waste your time. It's not a wet sump system. Why not have Joe and Ann do it. Why is this asked every month?

Besides, suctioning would never remove all of the build up crud/wear metals. Just do it the correct way, as the flowing oil will act as a particle flush..

Suctioning/vacuuming is being widely used by car dealers; however, as noted above, a tube will not reach the bottom of the 1330, thus leaving some old oil behind.

My concern has to do with protecting your warranty. Who is doing your "3,000 mile checkup"? Will you dealer honor your warranty if something happens at 7,500 miles? On my 2019 I felt it was prudent to pay the dealer to change the oil and do the checkup. At the same time I had the laser alignment done. Total bill at Florida Motorsports in Naples Fl was $536. Not cheap, but reasonable to protect a $27,000 machine. BTW, the laser alignment was $150 and was worth every penny. I also installed the Bajaron sway bar and my spyder is no longer "twitchy".

I use a suction apparatus intended to siphon gas. I'm guessing maybe half the oil comes out. Then i continue with the real oil change. Somewhat less messy that way. YMMV.

"Not cheap, but reasonable to protect a $30,000 machine." Enough said.
