Sorry to hear that. We try to get out every day. So far we have only encountered 90 degrees. Evening rides a couple hours before sundown are becoming fun, and we do watch for the deer.
Also, the rain here is not constant, so based on radar, we can usually find where it is not raining. Have not been rained on yet.
Hope it gets better for you.

Get a Camelbak, load it with ice and water and go!

Part of the problem here is that the rains usually come in the evening

Maybe early morning riding would work. It should also be the coolest part of the day. In this area the thunderstorms usually don’t fire up until the afternoon.

The temperature here not only FEELS like 110, it IS 110 (and above). It's supposed to cool down to 98 on Tuesday so hopefully will get an early morning ride in. Evening riding here is not too good as it is still well over 100 when the sun goes down. But, come September, we will have 8 months of excellent riding weather...... ..... Jim

Welcome to Florida Brother! It's no better up here in Tally. That's why I like my early morning rides into work...However, the ride home is BRUTAL, even on I-10 at 80. All you can do is grin and bear it.

Got a short ride in today. Had breakfast at a little cafe and then rode to the area where a big brush fire started a couple of weeks ago. Sad to see the desert burned but, it will come back. Did about 60 miles total. It was 93 degrees when I got home at 11:30 AM..... Jim

Yes, it has been untypically hot for late June and now entering into July.
Seeing temps of just under 100 in the shade, and high humidity has been common.

Early morning for one up. Covid, Heat, Closures, Sharan dust, ... all these are reducing the rides and surely interfere with the long trips we might like to enjoy. I'm spending a lot more time petting the Spyder than riding, but I sure do enjoy the wind when I do. Now that July is bringing the triple digit temps each day I suppose it's time to break out the chill vest and ride a little damp.
