Installing GPS - what's the best way to remove panels?

Hey everyone,
Trying to install Zumo XT on my 2020 RT Limited. In order to access the switched power supply on the right hand side of the bike do I need to remove the front body colored “quarter panel” or should I be able to access it just by removing the black gloss panel on the side? If I have to remove the front, it looks like I need to remove the rear colored panel to access some screws. What’s the best way to remove the rear panel? Thanks for any help.

Be aware that your power for this will probably be reversed from the factory. When you connect it, black should go to black. Most are wired wrong.
