I bought a complete set of Hopnel soft bags for each of the compartments. Got a nice set of 4 from Lamonster Garage for around $100. That's a good deal for me. I always pack light. If I need something extra I buy it at Walmart in whatever town.

I also have the BRP "hard" case set that I bought for my 2010 for $1,000. They fit the 2014 RT so I have held on to them. Personally, I like the Hopnels better. The BRP stuff was not worth the big bucks.

Are you going alone? If so get a good dry bag and strap it to the seat. Use the trunks on the bike for tools, extra gloves, rain gear, snacks and your helmet. Except for the top box, the other compartments are too small to be useful for luggage. I like the Ortlieb Rack Pac 48L. You can fill it for 2 days or 2 weeks, great bag.

I have a bag filled only with what I want in the motel room with me. In the bike, are additional clothing, foul weather gear, tools, and flat tire fix'ns. A touring bike I bought some time back, came with bags to fit the cases - I still have not used them.

You can get some F3 Limited specific luggage pretty cheap on Amazon. An option would be to mount a luggage rack on the rear trunk to carry an additional travel bag on it. If you do that make sure the bag has a waterproof cover.
Pack light, less is better. Roll your clothes. Figure at least 2 days wear time for jeans. Make sure to pack rain suit(s). Your rain suit jacket can be used as a regular jacket when chilly. Don't go cheap on rain suits.
Don't waste space with things that can be purchased en route. Travel personal size items can be had at any supermarket.
Plan your trip to the Nth degree if you can. . Figure daily mileage (we stayed under 350 miles a day) and make reservations where you are stopping ahead of time. Check local restaurants and places of interest to see after dinner so your not sitting in a motel room. Sunscreen is your friend.
My wife and I have been on 4 day, 700 mile trips to 10 day, 2,500 mile trips that were incredibly fun. It's not a race or a marathon so don't make it that way. Enjoy your trips, have fun, be safe!!!

Thanks for the advice, looking to get the luggage set from Lamonster seems like a good cost
