Do you still have a regular motorcycle along with your Spyder ??
I've been riding our Spyder for the last 3 months, not even getting any seat time on my Harley. So today, for the first time this year, I decided to hop on my motorcycle and see if I still enjoy riding it.
Tell ya one thing: Riding a motorcycle sure takes a lot more concentration, which makes it a challenge........and fun. Banging through the gears, braking correctly, rev-matching, all those things that makes motorcycling fun and challenging woke me up and I felt a renewed excitement being on a bike again.
I am just glad that I am still healthy and strong enough to ride a 2-wheeler. If and when that day comes that I can't, I'll be sad to let my beloved Harley go....

BTW, I was formerly a traveling X-ray/CT tech and did a 12-month assignment in Anchorage, AK. Didn't you used to live there ??

In my twenty year time in Alaska, I lived in Eagle River for ten years, and then five miles up the road in Chugiak. Both towns are considered suburbs of Anchorage. One twenty miles out and the other twenty-five miles out. I have always preferred the "country" to the city.
And currently, I am also out in the country.

My other bike is a 1999 Honda Valkyrie with over 100,000 miles. We got the Spyder because my wife wasn't comfortable on two wheels anymore. I told her I really didn't want to sell the Valkyrie in order to get the Spyder. She said I didn't have to and we could keep both. I said, "Bless you dear."

My other ride is a 2002 Honda VTX 1800. I have been without 2 wheels since 2013 when I bought my first Spyder. I bought the VTX last year after missing the 2 wheels lean.

I got another Honda VTX 1300R with 4200 miles on the clock and went from one end to the other
servicing it and replacing old parts and getting it safe to ride and take it out from time to time just
to enjoy two wheels again, but my main ride is still the Spyder.
But the VTX is still a lot of fun!

bought the RTL as a luxury tourer. have a Honda NT700V for my work commuter, since its a 98 mile round trip per day. need a cheap 2 wheeler for that, not an expensive Spyder. AND this is my 2nd NT. first one put on 201,111 in just 6 yrs 10 months. now on 2nd NT with 36,000 miles
My last two wheeler was a Honda VTX-R, but arthritis urged me towards the Spyder. I actually gave my VTX to my son about 3 years prior to my trying, and only a day later, getting my Spyder.....I just missed the “wind therapy” too much.
Have a 2018 Goldwing, a 2015 KTM SuperAdventure, a custom Harley Roadrod, and we have 2 Spyders: a 2017 F3T which we are in the process of selling, and a 2020 RT. It’s a STD, with a top box. While I love to ride the Spyder, Ann has first dibs. Since she can’t ride 2 wheels, and I love to, I’ll keep riding them.

I got the RTL for two-up cruising, with knees problem I couldn't hold the VStar1300 with my wife on very well. Bought a 2013 RTL with 45 miles on it, sold the Vstar1300 3 days later. Keep the 2013 Honda CB1100 for solo riding for now. Been riding for 45 years, can't give up yet, I think it's more fun on a two-wheel.
Cheers.

Sold my '07 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe last week. Hadnt been ridden since end of '17
Wife '08 Yamaha 650 Silverado Classic should be gone next weekend. Not ridden since summer of '19, well 2 days ago I washed it an rode it down the road an back. So its ready to be picked up Saturday.
Not sure what Im going do with my '83 V65 Honda Magna. Maybe keep it or sell it. Sits there wanting to be rode but I like my Spyder.
Only have the Spyder and don't think I can switch back and forth. Had the Spyder about two months now and haven't got used to the difference yet, not riding often enough. At least I have quit putting my foot down, still reach for the front brake at times. Fifty year old habits are hard to break.
Down to one 2 wheeler besides the Spyder. A 2009 BMW R1200RT. I find riding 2 wheels is still more fun than 3, but I keep the RT for my wife so that she will ride on the back. Some day I may not be able to keep going on 2 wheels, so hopefully 3 will be enough.

What is that big ugly thing on the side of your front fork..... if that is some sort of an inspection sticker cant you put it some place else ???? like maybe on the inside of your side bag lid

Thats where they put it, prob better than somewhere on the tupperware. On the Spyder, they put it on the bottom of one of the passenger floorboards, so when they are down you never see it.
