What Alarm do you use on your Spyder?
Does anyone have an alarm for their Spyder? If so, what kind and are you happy with it?

Nope, never have alarmed any of my bikes.......or my vehicles, for that matter. Have always made sure that my Insurance was up-tp-date.

Got one of these. Used it on my last 3 or 4 bikes. Just change the batteries when they get weak.

I got one off EBay, just one of the little 110db w/ fob... Thur out there tape & used 3m & mounted to the inside of the fender. Loud enough to hear inside the house & in a parking lot it would get attention that they’ll leave it alone... only false alarm I’ve had was when @ my house the wind got so bad that the cover started flapping so bad it set it off... works great & no wiring to be done.

Yes, have an alarm.
Works to keep rude people from believing they are entitled to get on for photos.

I had a gorilla alarm on my 2013 STL. It did on a couple occasions go off and keep folks off it. At the coffee shop one time, someone I knew. To be funny. Climbed on my Spyder. It was not armed. So I armed it with the remote after he was on. Hilarity ensued.
When I got the F3L. I just did not bother putting an alarm on it.

Yes, it is a very heavy built lock and goes through the holes in the brake disk. It is built so you have to have it off and have the keys just to change the batteries.
If they really want to steal something they will, but you can make it so difficult and noisy that it is not worth it.
Amazon and most large bike parts suppliers sell those.

I have that for my Harley, but didn't think it could be used for the Spyder.
BTW, that friggen alarm is loud and obnoxiously piercing.

Meh, put a cover on it, lock the bars and compartments, and keep it insured. Just the cover alone will deter most jackwagons.
