Vermont is beautiful, but my only visit there was expensive: Middle daughter was married there, Sep 1995!

It did give me the opportunity to finish visiting all 50 states. Rhode Island was last.

Yes I heard that also ..... but it was quickly cleaned up, and drove it about 10 days later and couldn't tell where it occurred ..... however at the speed I travel on that road I could have missed it ...................Mike

Love to come Mike, but as you know from where we are...………………with our travel luck, by the time we got there the weather would turn bad and the roads wouldn't look so good - even for you !! Don't want to change your luck Enjoy while you can

The rock slide was near the top of the notch, on the Stowe, Vt. side. I saw where the rock slide had occurred.

Yes and no...……. The ruling dictator out here has developed and put in place a 4 phase plan on what any county has to have in their "local medical metrics" to enter each of his plan phases. In our county only 3 deaths total so far over the entire timeframe and we are only allowed into Phase 2. In our neighboring counties, numbers versus population are similar, but their plan phase may or may not be the same, based on approval from "the man"...which can take weeks to get AFTER your county submits it's request to a state review board.

The good news for us is that where we live, opens up a lot of farmland/foot hills riding for us without ever needing to enter "enemy space". We have so far been able to maintain sanity (?). Now that we are in phase 2, eating out with limited seating is becoming possible as well.

We do what we are told, but as you see on TV many more don't. IMHO, people are not following guidelines and continue to protest and loot out here because is there is currently NO negative repercussions for not doing it. No arrests, no citations, no judge support, no public outcry over this side of things...etc, etc, etc.

    OK...…………..I'll quit rambling !
