Default Best Helmet Speaker for Sena?

    Yo.
I have Sena 20 bluetooth/speakers in full face helmet. Stock Sena speakers leave a lot to be desired. Phone communication is excellent, have played with equalizer settings forever and music is just garbage.
Anyone found some great audio speakers compatible with my Sena 20 jacks?

JBLs for Cardo or any other.
Pull out and disconnect the old, install and plugin the JBLs!

I have a new Sena 20 Evo and the volume is terrible. I can barely hear them. My old smh10 was very loud. The 20 evo is a real disappointment.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I tried the JBL speakers and thought they were in no way better than the original Sena speakers. At a suggestion posted in another forum I bought the Sena slimline speakers. They were touted as being better than the originals and smaller to boot. I have to agree. It was money well spent and I'm happy with them. If you want to really go crazy and spend more, you can get more and better, but for only about $35 these worked well.

I've tried several speakers for my old Senas, and just about everything is an improvement. I have a Packtalk Bold and upgraded to the JBL speakers and they sound better than anything I've had. I am not sure if it is the Packtalk, the JBLs, or a combo, but sounds pretty good for a helmet. No the cheapest choice though

Thank you Dave. If you have never bought anything from this man this is why I support him at every turn. In every transaction we have had he has ALWAYS under promised and way over delivered. Thank you for the depth of your support for the Spyder community. sorry to hijack the thread back to your problem of speakers for Sena

Have you enabled the audio boost? That will increase the volume, at the expense of battery life.
Using the audio boost, I've only gotten 9 hours out of the battery. I think SENA claims 13 hours max.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

I'm calling BS on this one guys.
I bought the Uclear speakers. They come with a 3.5 mm jack. The SENA has a 3.5 mm jack out to headphones.
I plugged the Uclear into the 3.5 mm jack. The sound was much lower. Not good.
I tried the disassemble and solder approach.
The SENA has a three wire system, even to the far right ear. The uclear has a two wire system.
Could not get the speakers to work.
Fortunately I got my SENA put back together.
I'll stick with what I have. The sound of the headset while I'm riding at 70 mph is good enough for me.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

I bought these and put them in my helmet on my old SMH-10's:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DSOUFTG...4K5B1E28&psc=1
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006B486K...4K5B1E28&psc=1

I snapped off the "over the ears" pieces and have been listening to clear and loud sounds ever since. It only required a little velcro to keep them in place.

You cut the ear piece off and stuck Velcro to the back and slipped them in your helmet and didn't put ay foam pad or anything over the top???

Yep, they come padded. I was surprised at how they weren't uncomfortable. They fit perfectly in the ear hole of my helmet.
