    Default Additional "storage"

The Ryder glove box gets rather warm, although a 1/2 liter bottle with ice cubes lasts most of a day, with insulation around it.
However, due to concern for the seal in the compact foot pump and the plug in the Dyna plug, I was looking for an alternate location.

This morning I followed a friend on his Vrod to Las Vegas H-D for 30K service.
Checked out their tool bags, but too large to clear swing arm travel, if mounted to two holes in seat frame.

So I sealed the pump and Dynaplug in Seal A Meal and secured to seat frame, behind fuel tank, with a heavy duty cable tie (175# rated).
If/when needed, I will cut the cable tie.

Not satisfied with appearance, but before making a black nylon or polyester bag for it, will check heat buildup.

This leaves the glove box with only the tool roll, shop towel, spare sun glasses, spare ear plugs.

Maybe you'd better add at least one spare of those cable ties to the gear in the glove box! Not that I think you're really all that likely to need it, but if you ever do & you've just cut the only cable tie you've got......

Good spot tho, it should work well once you get a proper bag/cover sorted!

Good thought, especially since tools have mostly been used to help friends, but when/if I need the pump or Dynaplug, they can ride home in the glove box. Cable tie is about 3/8”wide and 24” long.

I like that compact foot pump. I bought a small electric one but I don't fully trust them to work all of the time so I am thinking of a manual pump (high volume) .

    What brand is that?

Bought a couple of these circa Dec 2016. They disappeared from the market shortly thereafter.

I have a heavy duty Viair unit in my truck and the second foot pump for backup.

If you source any, pls share, as the unit is very lightweight.

There are some of this brand available, but not finding any with analog pressure gauge.
