Not sure if Utopia makes a backrest of the F3/2020+ RT yet but if they don't, I'll get they will soon. As much as I NEED a backrest, if I had a new RT and Utopia didn't make one yet, I'd wait on one. You might check their website (utpr.com, I think) and if you don't see one listed, send them an email requesting they make one.

Value Accessories is supposed to have an after market back rest for about $160, as I recall, in about one month. Last I looked, there was one listed for the 2020 but needed more time to perfect for the fit.

We have them in stock. There was a slight issue with the first run with one part. Getting replacement part in about a week and can start shipping then. We have one installed on ours, it's great.

Spend the money and get the BRP backrest. It looks better because it's designed specifically for your motorcycle.
I know there are other possibilities for less money.
Utopia makes an excellent product, and the Value Accessories unit looks pretty good also. If there was an improvement you wanted to make and only third party products were available, I'd say go for it, but the BRP backrest complements the look and style of the OEM seat.
A jeweler who repaired my fathers Rolex at great expense summed it up succinctly: "It Only Hurts Once".
As always, my free advice comes with a double your money back guarantee.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

I bought and installed the OEM BRP rider's backrest and after doing so I do have a hesitation about recommending it.
The mounting base is made out of plastic and doesn't appear to be super rugged and possibly durable. Just a caution to other thinking about it. Time will tell if my concern is warranted or not.

I’m picking mine up tomorrow. I got the BRP Drivers Backrest & BRP Passenger Armrests. Thought they looked pretty good.

valueaccessories.net and check their catalog for 2020 Spyder RT. I feel sure if they don't have the right one now, they will have it in the next day or so. The correct mod is available, just order it and it will be shipped soon, I'm sure there are those who have already ordered and will be first in line for shipping. The OEM is way too rich for me so I'm going for the aftermarket, it is a bit smaller, but it's a back rest and looks very sturdy. Here's one upside for the smaller print on the back, less sweating there. Full disclosure, I'm not associated with Value Accessories, just buy stuff there and been satisfied so far. Happy trails.
