Default Folding Chairs that fit in frunk?

Hey any folding chairs/bag chairs that fit in frunk? I know about the Kermit chairs anything else preferably not low to ground beach chairs(bad knees and all)..Wife and I sometimes picnic on Sunday mornings ,would be nice to take along instead of trying to find a bench or picnic table..Thanx

I'm assuming your talking about an RT, because I don't think there is a folding chair small enough to fit in the F3 frunk. I have a folding chair similar to this, it's close to 14" in length, which I think may fit in an RT but can't verify since I sold my RT.

I have used them a couple of times, sitting comfortable for a couple of hours. The only thing that takes getting use to is assembling the legs, make sure you have them fully inserted. I like the size of these, I can strap it on the back seat of my F3 and it doesn't look out of place like the normal folding chairs. I just verified it will fit in the side compartment of my F3T, so it should also fit in the F3L and 2020RT Topcase.

I recommend putting it together (for familiarization) and try it first before using it at some type of event.

I got the Cadillac model. If you watch the video, you'll see how to open and close. I've only used on the balcony. If you had an interest, I can measure the carry bag for it.

If you own a spyder because you have bad knees or hips and you're thinking about buying one of these chairs, think twice. They are a B***H to get out of once you sit down in one.

So, with bad hips or knees stay away from the low chairs, but need a chair to fit in the spyder, but you don’t want to spend much? That may be difficult to find a chair with all those restraints.

I just want to apologize, as I got ahead of myself. After working in physical therapy all these years and talking to ortho drs., and having them show me X-rays, and comparing someone who has no complaints of pain, and having more arthritis than someone with much less arthritis. So, what is a bad hip/knee?, I have no idea. Okay, back on topic. By the way, I was only talking osteoarthritis.

I got one of these. Got one leg amputated at the knee. Hard for me to stand up from a low stool or chair. This one won't fit in a frunk, but it rolls up small and supports 300 pounds. I don't weigh near that much, but the more it is rated for, the longer they usually last. This one is about 20 inches high when it is set up. It is fairly easy to stand up from. It will strap on the pillion, no problem.

There are leg extensions for the Kermit chairs which get you in a normal seating height. I have them for mine and the wife's Kermits. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

"So, what is a bad hip/knee?" Hang in there and sooner or later you may out. But, in all honesty I hope you never do find out. I've discovered that the much less expensive aluminum roll up chairs with arm rests from wally world or the like, is the better choice. $10.00 or less and they are very lightweight. I have two i roll up and carry bunged to my trunk rack when i feel we'll need them. If and when they break, or get swiped at a large gathering (like ours did once), no big loss.

REI is a good idea, and they have a good return policy. My portable chair stays on the balcony, except for a winter nap. I took something up when I purchased the chair; it's called reading, and I didn't do much until I made my purchase.

    Stangman35,

That is the chair I have, but I'd only purchase thru the mfg'er or REI, JMO.

Thanks Wil. $220.00 for a folding Chair? Does it have Harley Davidson on it? (Yes, I'm Joking and I do OWN Numerous Harleys.) I don't have a Wife but I think $21.00 is closer to what the "standard" design Chairs are worth. We Shall See. The good thing is, they'll fit in the Waverunner too. Thanks for Your Post.

New virus rules, they took the benches out from in front of the Wally World pharmacy so everybody except me has to stand up 6 feet apart waiting on the prescriptions. I take my folding camp stool in the there with me.
