I've had a " UTOPIA " on every Touring bike and a GS and RSS spyder ..... it is the most adjustable made .... you can even add a shim that will give nice Lumbar support ...... any questions ...PM me for " how to " ...... Mike

I have an adjustable BRP backrest on my Comfort Seat and find it very comfortable. It's pricey but I have a wonderful bride who gave it to me for a birthday present. Do remember if you find a seller of a BRP backrest and that's the one you want there is a different mounting base than the one for the OEM seat; it's PN487801951.

I paid almost 400.00 for a factory backrest and it has no adjustment. It won't go back so I can drive it . No I am told for 100.00 more dollars they make a kit. Is it worth the 100.00. Or just throw away this backrest away and buy a aftermarket one

If you decide to get rid of it let me know. My wife has the comfort seat and would like a backrest. She tried my non adjustable one and likes it.
