Why in the world would you put a flag on the antenna when it's not obviously designed for it ??

They sell flag holders everywhere and are easy to install.

Just get one of those Shorty Antennas that sponsors sell. It's a popular mod and is easy to install as well.

Walmart has always had a rubber "shorty" antenna that works well. They used to cost about $10.

This happened to me also ( not a flag though ) .... Since the reception left a lot to be desired I used a Bosche manual collapsible auto antennae ( not electric ). I was able to fit it into the right speaker housing by putting a bit more up-right than OEM .... it goes thru the very rear of the passenger armrest ( no one puts their arm that far back ) ...... I now get about 10 more stations and much clearer I live in the mountains so FM is always an issue ...... cost me about $12.00 on E-bay ..... Mike .......sorry but I don't have pics

Hey Gator. I had to go back to one of your previous posts to find out what year your RT is. 2015 right? Maybe you can help out by adding that next time.

If by trim piece, you are talking about that rubber boot, then the part number is 708300156. You can find it on eBay or cheap cycle parts for around 17 bucks. On the parts diagrams, it’s listed in the luggages diagram.

I just took mine off today on my '18. I'll keep it in case the next owner wants to put it back on. I covered up the hole w/the same "cover" that's on the left side (meant to cover the CB antenna hole that Can Am doesn't offer any more). I did this for a few reasons. First, I'm OCD and didn't like a single antenna on 1 side, Second, not having any antenna really cleans up the look. Third, I added XM as there aren't many decent radio stations around here. Finally, I don't have a garage so I cover the bike every night. The rubber boot kept coming "unhooked" from the tupperware.

    Really?
That's why flag poles were invented.

That's what I have. They work good. I put a eye nut on the bottom end that I fasten bungee cords to when I wrap a bungee around a load I have on the passenger seat. Those are Rivco flag holders. You can get them from several different vendors.

I see no one answered your question. I have a luggage rack but could never get the poles to stay upright on it. I went to the ones from Rivco. I bought them from Value Accessories but see that motorcycledave also sells Rivco. You will have to get hold of them both for their prices. I will post pictures later.
